The Chamber is organizing a workshop about Basic Data Analysis for Business!

The better you understand your business, the better you will be able to manage it. A designated way to achieve improvements through better understanding is by periodically analyzing and interpreting your business data. An analysis is being considered so important at present, that some historians have already named the period that we are living in as the Analysis Era. The Data Analysis for Business Workshop will make you acquainted with some basic, yet powerful, analysis tools in excel like the Array formula, Sorting and Filtering, the Sum-If function, the What-If table, Goal Seek, and Scenario Manager. Further, you will receive and get some opportunity to practice with specific templates to carry out a Cost or Sales analysis by Allocation Centers (the so-called Production Centers Method). The participants will learn as well how to perform a Pareto, and a Sales-COGS-Margin analysis.

Requirements to get sufficient benefits from the workshop are: a laptop, and a workable knowledge of Papiamento, English and Excel. General insights in business will be helpful as well.

Note: the workshop provides an excel workbook with nine practices which participants will keep for further use.
